The plot is
chronological order.
Complement of plot:
1.
Exposition: the story is beginning from the Jacky’s grandpa died and his grandma
came to live with his family.
2.
Raising act: when Jacky’s grandma cooked for dinner, Jacky didn’t touch it, and his
sister Nora tried to make him. But he hid under table and took the bread knife
for protection. From what he did, their family asked him to make his first
confession. The teacher who will be teaching him before first confession is
Mrs. Ryan but he didn’t like her.

Climax: The way of Mrs. Ryan teaching made Jacky afraid of doing his first
confession. He preferred to avoid it. Because he was afraid if he did his
confession he will came to the hell, like what Mrs. Ryan said to him.

Falling Act: When Jacky met the priest, he changed his mind about his first
confession. The priest told him that first confession did not terrify like Mrs.
Ryan said.

Resolution: Jacky came to the church and made his first confession with the priest.
And Nora accompanied him to make his first confession.
